Director and Support Coordinator

Originally trained as a nurse, Fiona has worked in the Disability Sector for over 30 years. Fiona has considerable experience and networks to be able to assist you to navigate the disability service sector for all your support needs. Fiona is experienced in leading and working closely with large complex support teams to deliver the best outcomes to an individual participant. Fiona is a passionate and dedicated, who goes above and beyond to best support participants and their families. 

Direct Service Delivery Coordinator

With 37+ years in the disability sector, Jacqui has extensive skills and experience that she brings to her role. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Residential and Community Services, along with an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management. Jacqui excels in providing personalised support and advocacy, prioritizing individual goals. She is a proud mother of two respectful and thoughtful sons, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, the gym, and walking the 10,000 steps.

Project and Systems Manager

Olivia brings a decade of disability support experience to the team including experience across in-home and supported independent living and as a house supervisor. Currently Olivia is working as a primary school teacher and project systems manager at YSYW. With a Certificate IV in Disability, Olivia has an understanding of the diverse needs and supports of participants. She uses this experience when managing documentation, and implementing policies and procedures. Beyond her professional commitments, Olivia treasures moments spent with loved ones and her cat, Pounce.

Daniel has 28 years’ experience in the disability sector. He has a Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare), Diploma of Disability, Cert iv Disability, Cert iv training and assessment,  Adv Diploma. In  his spare time he likes to go diving, play music, play golf and make art.

For over 35 years, Kathy has dedicated her career to disability and mental health support. She has been instrumental in fostering independence through personal care, community access, and education. Kathy's passion lies in promoting equality and harnessing creativity to empower individuals to believe in themselves and create the lives they desire.

Disability Support Worker

Meet Nasra, bringing a blend of two years' experience in disability and five years in aged care to our team. With qualifications including a Cert 3 in Aged Care and a Masters in Public Health, Nasra embodies compassion, sociability, and adaptability. She thrives on making a difference in others' lives, forging meaningful connections, and embracing continuous learning. Outside work, Nasra finds solace in nature and cherishes opportunities to travel.

Lily is a friendly and compassionate person with a great sense of humor. Lily values building trusting and meaningful relationships and has always had a passion for working and supporting people in need. Lily is currently studying a bachelor of arts in Social and Climate Justice at Swinburne University and will begin studying her masters of Social Work in 2027. In her free time Lily likes to play netball and watch live music.

Gael is a compassionate and cheerful person who is always open to getting to know people. Gael is passionate about social justice and currently studying politics and sociology at university. In her free time, she enjoys painting and listening to music. Gael has a certificate in support work and aged care with experience in disability support work, providing one-to-one, person-centred support, assisting with daily living activities, personal care and promoting independence.

Jimmy joins our team as a recently qualified enrolled nurse with relevant experience in providing person-centred care and support. His key skills include emotional support and companionship, domestic duties, administering medication, and community access. Jimmy is compassionate, solution-focused, and motivated to support people reach their potential. In his spare time, you can find Jimmy barracking for the Melbourne Storm.

Alex brings four years of valuable experience in disability support to our team. Her strengths lie in being a good listener and highly empathetic, creating relaxed and supportive environments. Passionate about self-empowerment and personal growth, Alex excels in connecting individuals with the tools they need for ongoing success. With 35 years as a professional musician, arranger, and producer, Alex has performed in various venues worldwide, from small clubs to stadiums and festivals. Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying fit and cherishing quality time with her wife and three beloved border collies.

Diya joins our team with over two years of disability support experience in administering medication, assistance with daily living, domestic duties, personal care and behavioural support. She brings reliability, enthusiasm, and compassion to her role and has a passion for assisting participant to improve wellbeing outcomes and achieve their goals. Diya holds a Certificate IV in Disability and Manual Handling Certificate and Medical Competence Certificates. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Science at Deakin University.
